Before you book
How is a sample taken?
For most relationship tests, a coordinator rubs a soft swab inside the cheek for well under a minute. It does not need a needle. A blood sample happens only when a clinician has requested one, and only a licensed clinician draws it.
Who has to agree?
Every adult signs for themselves. A parent or legal guardian agrees for a child. If someone refuses, the sample is not taken.
How long do results take?
The laboratory prints a window on your receipt. Relationship swabs are often ready in about five to ten working days after the lab receives them. Health panels usually take longer. The receipt is the date to use.
Will a court or an embassy accept the report?
Only that court or embassy can say yes. Bring their letter and we will tell you whether the appointment matches the instructions in it.
What does a report mean?
A relationship report gives a probability for the people who were tested. A health report is information for your clinician. Neither one is a decision about custody, a visa, or medical treatment.
Can I send documents through the website form?
Send your name and a short note only. Bring identification, letters, and any medical papers to the appointment rather than attaching them to a public form.
